  Founded in 1892, this 18-hole, slightly undulating, medium-length golf course is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Upper Deeside. Several holes lie close to the River Dee and many a ball has gone to a watery grave.
Craibstone Golf Centre
  The highly acclaimed Craibstone Golf Centre opened in the summer of 2000 and is easily located five minutes from the Granite City of Aberdeen. The 18-hole, par 69, parkland course measures 5,613 yards and is a fair and enjoyable test for all levels of golfers.
Cruden Bay Golf Club
  Cruden Bay offers an internationally famous golfing experience - old fashioned links golf at its best - on one of the best links courses in Scotland, and last year was placed at No 52 in the world by "Golf Magazine".
Elgin Golf Club
  Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is a testing heathland course measuring 6401 yards with a par of 69 and a standard scratch of 71, fully justifying its claim to be one of the finest inland courses in the northern part of Scotland.
Forres Golf Club
  The course, which has hosted the Scottish Professional Championship, is remembered mostly for its spectacular views of surrounding countryside, its tree lined fairways and its 16th hole, aptly named The Pond, provides a watery grave for many stray golf balls.
