The Festival Theatre is the capital's arena for Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet and is at the heart of the Edinburgh International Festival. Eden Court Theatre is an 800 seater receiving theatre in Inverness which serves the Highlands but does not have an in-house professional producing company, however the Education and Outreach department employs 12 full time theatre arts workers, funded by lottery and trust funds, based throughout the Highlands, who reach more than 5000 young people with a skills development programme of workshops and projects for young people of school age, including all abilities and disabilities. |
